Dear GAPS & GAES Families,
The following is information about morning drop-off procedures and afternoon pick-up procedures for the 2021-22 school year.
AM Drop-Off Procedures (reference map)
· GAES students may be dropped off between 8:15 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.
o Drop-off is located at the gym side of the Elementary School.
o Staff will be there to assist.
· GAPS students may be dropped off between 8:20 a.m. and 8:35 a.m.
o All parents should pull up along the curb in the front of the Primary School and remain in their cars.
o Students should be prepared to promptly exit the side of the car near the sidewalk.
o Staff will be there to assist.
· Parents should not park in a parking spot and walk their child to the door.
· Students who arrive late should be walked to the main office by their parent/guardian and be checked into school.
PM Permanent Car Rider Procedures
· GAES permanent car riders will dismiss from the GAES front doors at 2:45 p.m.
· GAPS permanent car riders will dismiss from the GAPS front doors at 2:50 p.m.
· Students will remain inside and be dismissed once they are matched with a parent/guardian.
· We ask that those picking up students be no younger than middle school age.
PM Non-Permanent Car Riders Using School Gate Guardian
· GAES students being dismissed using the School Gate Guardian system will exit from the front doors at 2:55 p.m. Please sign your student out no later than 2:45 p.m.
· GAPS students being dismissed using the School Gate Guardian system will exit from the front doors at 3:00 p.m. Please sign your student out no later than 2:50 p.m.
