General music classes at GAES focus on vocal performance, instrumental performance, musical literacy, beginning composition and improvisation, and musical evaluation. We also explore history, movement, and culture through music learning. Instrumental music (band) is also an option for our fifth grade students at GAES. Students receive one 30 minute lesson per six day cycle, as well as full band rehearsal once per six day cycle.
