GAPS/GAES Parent-Teacher Organization

Greetings from the GAPS/GAES Parent-Teacher Organization!

Our PTO sponsors many events and programs that establish personal interactions and relationships between parents, teachers and faculty from the Primary and Elementary schools. We welcome volunteers to participate, and as with other school-related activities, all individuals complete the security clearance process. Our main priority is always
Children First.

GAPS/GAES PTO also manages several school fundraisers throughout the year. The majority of our PTO funding relies heavily on a successful fundraiser which enhances our ability to provide these programs and functions to our students. When parents and students take an active role in these fundraisers, the benefits to our school (and our classrooms) are great!

Financial help also comes to us by participation in BOX TOPS, CAMPBELLS Labels for Education, Martin’s Bonus Card Program, and Target’s Take Charge of Education Program, as well as other important community-based incentives.

The PTO also sponsors many family-oriented events that are provided at little or no cost for a family to participate in, including Pumpkin Night, Reading Night, Movie Night, Track & Fitness Night, and Hobby Night, as well as a Talent Show. Making these activities available for families is yet another important part of what our PTO strives for to strengthen the connection between the school setting and your child.
